Henry Cisneros launched American Sunrise Communities 2006 to strengthen urban communities through large scale needs-based housing development and new growth opportunities for financially challenged Americans. American Sunrise catalyzes public, private and non-profit stakeholders who participate in large-scale community development efforts. It raises funds and provides the resources and assistance necessary to make development financially viable.
